Yandere Princesses Ch6 - First, rule out every possibility

Lin and Elena didn’t mention anything that happened earlier and had a small chit-chat over breakfast

Right after lunch, Lin declined Elena’s invitation to study magic, explaining that he felt unwell, and promptly returned to his palace at around one o'clock.

There was something off with him today, he felt that if he stayed any longer he would be tempted to do something strange to Elena.

Lin's house was in a remote location, and rather than a stereotypical palace, it was more of a two-story vintage manor.

There were no maids in the building, only a few older butlers who cleaned the house. He did the cooking and other things by himself.

Fortunately, he had a good relationship with the princesses, so he was able to dine and drink out regularly.

"Your Highness, welcome home. The next time you go out, please let me know, I am here to keep you safe."

Lin's manor also had its own housecarl*. The young knight standing at the door when he returned gave him a not-so-regular knight's salute.

His name was Roden, and rather than fulfilling his knightly duties, he served as the king’s eyes.

He had slept in and got up late today. By the time he woke up, Lin had been called away by Louise's men, a negligence of duty on his part.

Seeing his deliberately lame salute, Lin let out a slight smile, "That's fine, next time I go over to see Louise I'll take you with me."

Roden: "Ahem, that won't be necessary, Your Highness is, of course, safe under the care of the Grand Princess, I am merely talking out of concern for Your Highness' safety in other circumstances."

He stepped back and gave way to the path leading to the manor, returning to stand guard by the door by himself.

The way he looked while guarding looked unreliable, giving out a feeling that he would collapse in a second when someone broke in.

Not wanting to valuable time, Lin stepped through the door and headed straight for the house.

Arriving on the first floor, he used his key to open the door to a locked room and then locked himself in.

After turning on the magic lamp that hung on the wall and was powered by magic stones, the small, stuffy, and dark room was a lot brighter.

A quick glance around the room revealed a number of alchemical appliances and random papers scattered everywhere, and a small blackboard hanging off the side of the wall with a partially complete magical circle on it.

In the corner of the room laid stacks of odd items of unknown purpose, while on the opposite side were bottles and jars of various colors.

At a cursory glance, there was a hint of something unusual and odd in this place.

Don't get this wrong, Lin wasn't some sad, sick guinea pig, he was just looking for a way to make his own breakthrough.

In this palace of cannibals, Lin had his own way of survival.

Relying on others would never be a permanent solution. Relying on himself would be the key, especially when the princesses have unspeakable intentions toward him at the moment.

Lin had almost no memories of his time at the palace, not even vague fragments, all he had was common knowledge.

When he was first picked up, he was told by one of the court magicians that he had a great magical talent and would become a pillar of the kingdom in the future.

It was because of his outstanding magical talent that the king took him in and gave him the title of prince.

But this did not last long, as after a series of examinations, the king suddenly told him that he would not able to achieve expectations and that the previous results had been misinterpreted.

From that day onwards, Lin never saw that court magician again.

It was from that day onwards that his daily routine focused on being medicated for the "disease" that prevented him from casting spells, and thus being of use.

Every time he tried to cast a spell, he would get a splitting headache, and trying again would only result in a coma.

He had made many attempts over the years, but they had always ended in failure.

Speaking of which, it was time for another treatment tonight.

At the thought of what that odd treatment awaited, Rin, despairing, struggled to contain his laughter..

After reading Louise's diary, he understood more and more what the purpose of the so-called “treatment” was, and that the King was responsible for this so-called “illness”.

Leaning back in his chair, Lin swept the piles of paper off the table, leaving behind a small, open space.

Picking up a clean sheet of paper, Rin scribbled down important information on it, noting down all the events of the day.

Louise... Elena .... The King ....

The main characters, the main events, the main triggers, and the current situation.

Today’s kingdom has descended into a whirlpool of madness, even if it turns into a meat grinder, it would surprise nobody.

The king's life hangs in the balance and there is no telling when he will die.

The three princesses of the kingdom, though born to the same father and mother, did not get along, sometimes even spiraling into conflict.

Is it because of me?

No, no, no way such a thing would be possible.

Lin threw this absurd thought out of his head, ruling out the possibility straight away.

The eldest Princess Louise controlled the kingdom’s military, the second Princess controlled an equally powerful group of magicians, while the youngest Princess had the backing of the nobles.

Just to be clear, the young princess is backed by the nobles because of her mother, who was once the first daughter of the Dukes. Having now passed away, the young princess is the sole direct descendant of the Dukes.

Those three are not to be trifled with. The outcome of their struggle is unpredictable, but one thing you could confidently predict would be that the kingdom would collapse first.

This is a crisis, but it brings an opportunity.

For Lin, those turbulent times were his only chance to escape, and Lin had a rough plan in mind to do just that.

It was also at this time that a black letter appeared to his right.

Lin: ......

Where the hell did this come from?

Putting down his pen and paper, Lin took the letter in his hand and examined it, this time it was black, not pink. Iit also had an ornate pattern printed on it.

It looked familiar, but Lin couldn't recall anything.

Tearing open the envelope, Lin took the paper out.

[My name is Lin Kleist, and by the time you’re reading this, I’m already dead. ]

[Oh, perhaps that's not the right way to put it. To be precise, I’m probably dead while writing this letter too.]

[Anyway, I'm Lin, I know I wrote this letter, and I'll act on that on faith.]

[I know it sounds crazy, after all, it crosses time and space, something that’s impossible even for the legendary heroes.]

[For me, those letters are my salvation, and their messages will guide me to live, especially through the tough times, I know this for sure.]

[That said I am not incapable of magic, I am simply blocked from casting, which could be solved if I were to obtain the legendary Sacred Heart.]

[It's not here, so in order to get it I have to escape and leave the palace - the sooner the better!]

Rin: !!!

This time he stood up from his chair with a light of excitement in his eyes.

"Let me in, I want to see Lin, if you dare to stop me, I'll break your legs!"

It was at this time that the little princess Bella, dressed in a black dress, arrived in front of Lin's small manor.

Yandere Princesses Ch5 - A bit of truth and a sprinkle of deception

Lin could clearly feel her Elena’s tender and slightly cold body on his whilel she embraced him.

It seems that not only her hands were cold, her body temperature was also lower than normal.

Elena was lying on the bed sideways, holding Lin's arm with both hands, and along the way, she also put her long legs on her body, as if she wanted to pin his legs.

The bodies of the two were as if glued together. He could clearly feel that his arms were buried in her deep valley, and on both sides of it were majestic snow-capped mountains that made people look up with awe.

The snow-capped mountains were not entirely white, they were topped with two cherries right at the peak, their colors gorgeous and attractive, making one eager to taste them.

Although he wore clothes, the thin fabric could not prevent him from feeling Elena's delicate body.

Suddenly, Lin seemed to understand why he always smelled her fragrance after taking a nap in her room, and the cause behind it made his heart tremble.

Gradually, Elena's breathing became more and more gentle, as if she had fallen into deep sleep.

After a while, Lin carefully opened his eyes, and he turned his head just enough to see Elena hold his arm, with a gentle and relaxed smile on her face.

No matter how you look at it, Lin would not be able to see the slightest bit of her bad intentions, only that she smelled a little more seductive than usual.

Her silvery-gray hair was scattered on the bed, like a blooming snow lotus, as her skin shimmered in the sunlight.

His eyes moved down from her charming face, swept over her shapely neck, passed by her delicate collarbone, and finally reached her full breasts as they were touching her arms.

His throat squirmed slightly, and Lin's eyes went down a little further. He also saw hersmooth and flat belly, the winding and lovely waistline, and the slightly curved long legs currently pinning him.

Lin had come to truly recognize Elena's charm as a woman in this short period of time, and a kind of passionate emotion flowed down like hot lava into his heart, making him feverish.

He moved the hand that was resting on him, but he soon stopped in fear of waking her up.

After less than a second of struggling with what to do, Lin turned sideways to face her. He rested his chin on Elena's head, and stroked her slender waist with his free hand.

Gently sniffing the fragrance of her hair, and touching her, Lin closed his eyes again.

Let your mind go and remind yourself of everything that happened recently.

Firstly, the state of the kingdom. The king was poisoned and his life was in danger, his regime crumbling piece by piece. Currently, the potential heirs who could inherit the throne are the eldest princess Louise, the second princess Elena, and the little princess Bella.

Since he was adopted by the king, he has no right of inheritance, so unless he marries one of his three daughters, any chance of taking the throne is forfeit.

Louise reminded him, and slightly pushed him to choose her.

But why would she want him on the throne?

Lin has no idea how to rule, and he doesn't want to participate in the power struggle of the sisters. Not to mention he is powerless, to the point of being unable to save his own life.

But judging from the information he found in the letters, it seems that the future him chose one of the princesses.

Who is that “Lin Kleist”?

Once again, an unanswerable question arose.

At the same time, there is another matter that requires this attention, that is, his special physique. When the king asked him to undergo the so-called “treatment” before, he had suspected something, but he did not expect that his original expectations were way below what reality served him.

In a way, thanks to his special physique, Lin is the one of the most important people in this country.

Louise greedily eyed his body, and Elena collected his blood. At present, it seems that only Bella doesn’t care.

Thinking of this, he felt a little lonely, considering he knew that their actions could have been only leading him on to his doom.

If it wasn't for the fear of waking Elena up, maybe he would give her chest a good old rub as revenge.

While inhaling her fragrance he kept thinking, and he gradually became sleepy, wrapping his arms around Elena's waist, instinctually falling into a deep sleep,

 …

Near noon, Elena slowly woke up.

As soon as she opened her eyes, her pretty cheeks were immediately dyed a beautiful crimson, and her body temperature rose a little.

At some point, Lin had completely embraced her in his arms, holding one hand on her round buttocks.

She lowered her head slightly and found a red handprint on her chest.

Lin's arm that she held had quietly escaped from it’s restraint, landing on her chest, seemingly fondling it.

"Mmh~"

Elena let out a sweet yawn, her beautiful eyes darted around as her earlobes went pink.

She jumped out the blanket in a panic, exposing her perfect delicate body to the sunlight.

Before she had time to think, she quickly put on her underwear and skirt.

In the past, the effect of the medicine would make Lin fall asleep peacefully and wake up at a later time.

But today's meeting was obviously out of the ordinary. Could it be that his resistance to the drug had increased?

After getting dressed, Elena touched her chest with her hands. She couldn't hear her heartbeat because of the thick protective armor, but she knew that her heart was racing right now.

Her repressed emotions found release, and the demons in her heart broke out of containment.

She quietly leaned her head down to his mouth, and kissed him on corner of his lips. At this moment, a slight urge pushed her to eat him up while he was asleep.

The kind of eating that goes both ways.

Biting her wet red lips, she finally suppressed the urge in her heart because it was not time yet.

The turmoil in the kingdom has not yet subsided, Louise is still going after Lin, and she still has a lot to do.

After getting up and leaving the room, Elena was going to order the maid to make some delicious food. When she walked out of the room, she rubbed her chest once again, feeling a little hot all the while.

"Hmm-hmm~"

She hummed softly, a sweet expression on her face.

 …

A few hours prior; the third princess, Bella had returned to her palace with the book Elena left behind, and she put the it on her bookshelf.

Wandering in front of them, she asked the maid behind her without turning her head, "Is it that day today?"

The maid replied respectfully: "Correct, today is the day His Highness makes Lin take his treatment. Going by prior instances, the time will be about seven o'clock in the evening."

"I see, then let’s put the plan into motion, I have to give him a surprise tonight~"

Bella's eyes flickered, and two cute little canine teeth were visible at the corners of her mouth. She wasn't as innocent as she appeared to be in front of Lin.

Yandere Princesses Ch4 - If that's the case then we won't be able to study together

The size of the palace where she lived was second only to Louise, and there were quite a few maids busy inside. Today she dragged Lin directly to her study.

Her study always had this elegant herbal fragrance. If you took a second, you could tell that it was the smell of lavender.

Lin took in the smell and felt a little better.

"Wait a moment, I'll make you some tea." After pushing Lin down to sit, Elena turned around and left.

Before she could go out, Lin asked, "Can't the maids make some?"

"Hmph, the tea made by the maids isn’t as good as the one made by your Jie-jie." Elena raised her fist in a coquettish way as if she was about to punish Lin if he resisted.

In fact, dear sister, the tea you make is quite ordinary.

Lin didn't say it out loud, he clearly knew that if he did, Elena might not be so gentle anymore.

After Elena left, Lin went to the table, and held an empty teacup, twirling it around in his hands.

Considering all the things he had experienced with Elena so far, some suspicions came to mind and his gaze went even lower.

Just as he was about to let go of the teacup, a letter appeared exactly where it should have been, and this time, the envelope was pink.

Now that he thought of it, the first letter was red.

Do the different envelope colors mean anything?

"Maybe I'm overthinking this."

After tearing open the envelope, Lin took out the paper inside and skimmed through it.

[My name is Lin Kleist, and by the time you’re reading this, I’m already dead. 】

[The way of magic is tortuous and tough, and I died while following it. I don't understand why Elena would do something like that to me. I don't get why she would betray me. This woman exploited me. 】

[If I could go back to the past, I would be wary of the tea that Elena made, and take precautions to not fall asleep. 】

【At the same time, I wonder if choosing Louise from the beginning would be the correct choice. 】

This is strange!

Lin frowned. Compared to the first letter, this one was very different.

Although the handwriting was undoubtedly his, the color and contents varied from the first one, as if different people wrote them.

Now that I think about it, even the tone is different.

The most striking fact is that the information in this letter contradicts the previous one. The red one said that Louise was the one who betrayed me, so why did this one say to pick her?

What does this discrepancy mean?

Perhaps it’s written from another perspective? Did that Lin pick Elena?

He was gradually becoming more alert, as his brain was busy processing information and eliminating theories.

Lin didn’t think of himself as dumb, on the contrary, he thought his intelligence was on the high end.

Although he himself was struggling to learn magic for some reason, he had a deep understanding of its theory, otherwise, he would not be able to help Elena out with research.

"Poof!"

Within a minute or so of opening, the letter in Lin's hand dissipated into smoke.

"Are you worried about something? If you have any problems, you can tell Jie-jie~"

Not long after that, Elena returned with a pot of freshly brewed green tea.

Lin crumpled on the table again, pretending that nothing happened: "It's nothing, maybe I just didn't sleep well last night, I’m feeling a little sleepy."

"If that's the case then we won't be able to study together..."

Elena gracefully poured some tea into the clean cup and said without raising her head: "It's okay, we can always do it later, if you're sleepy, just lie down.

Today’s tea is special, it not only calms the nerves but also slightly relaxes your mind. "

A few thin tea leaves floated around in the tea he had been handed.

"Thank you." Lin took the teacup and took a sip without any hesitation, not showing any doubt.

It was lukewarm so he could drink it as is.

Lin slurped a bit of the tea.

He only took a small sip, unlike before when he drank it all in one gulp.

When he drank Elena’s tea in the past, he would always feel drowsy. At the time he thought it was an effect of the leaves. Though right after waking up after a nap he would feel better in the head.

"So what do you think? Jie-jie’s tea isn’t half-bad, huh?." Elena stood behind Lin and rubbed his temple with her hands, waiting for his compliment.

In terms of age, she is one year older than Lin and one year younger than Louise, basically in her peak.

Lin noticed she never kept any distance when socializing with him.

"I'm a little sleepy, I'll going to take a nap."

Just as he was thinking that a sense of drowsiness hit him, and as he closed his eyes, his head slumped and he fell asleep.

Elena who was standing behind him said nothing, and as she gently stroked Lin's hair, the gentleness in her eyes didn't diminish, in fact, it seemed like it deepened.

"No matter how you look at it, my little bro is so handsome. Now sleep, sleep. Leave everything to me. Like I always say, you’re mine."

Elena's hand stroked Lin's face, and her voice sounded more determined than ever.

After five minutes, it seemed that she had had enough of touching him, and helped Lin get to her bed.

She wasn’t that strong, and she had some trouble dragging Lin, who was a bit taller than her.

After laying Lin down on her bed, she carefully took off his coat and shoes and covered him with a blanket without missing a spot.

"Just bear with me a little longer, this will soon be over." Eileen touched Lin's wrist and said to herself, as she put on a pained expression.

She took out a silvery needle and after hesitating slightly, she gritted her teeth and stabbed it right into the vein on Lin’s arm.

The thin silver needle sucked Lin's blood like a vampire, gradually turning from silver to red.

This kind of thing was a last resort for Elena, to protect Lin she had to become stronger, and this was the only way.

There wasn’t much time left, and this was the only course of action she could take.

While Lin was asleep, she could secretly take some blood to boost her strength, which was the most she could do.

Even if it hurt her heart every time she did it, she had to clench her teeth and do it.

From Elena's point of view, this is the kind of responsibility a sister has to shoulder.

What she didn't notice at this time was that when she stuck the silver needle into Lin's arm, his eyelids twitched slightly.

When the silver needle turned red completely, Elena slowly pulled it out and then used magic to close the wound.

Lin was awake all this time, and he knew what she did.

"Ahh..."

He sighed deep down and felt sleepy, so sleepy that he wanted to fall asleep right away.

But he couldn't, someone got into the bed and pressed tightly against his waist while embracing him.

Lin: ? ? ?

Now I understand what she’s after, but why did she slip into bed NAKED?

Lin felt like he might not be able to fall asleep after all.

Yandere Princesses Ch3 - Elena, Gentleness Incarnate

Leaving the room, Lin walked along the long corridor of the palace, encountering many knights clad in silver armor and magicians in robes along the way.

Noticing him, most of them would shift slightly to give Lin an easier way.

Lin was indeed a powerless prince, that was completely correct, but the princesses of the royal family took good care of him so no one dared to mess with him.

Occasionally, he could see the contempt in other people's eyes, but he ignored it. There had to be a reason for receiving their favor, and in the eyes of most people, he was taking advantage of them.

But who’s the one taking advantage of the other party?

After seeing that letter and Louise's diary, Lin couldn't tell whether the girls were being kind to him, or simply after his body.

Their eyes were sincere and their smiles were warm.

But Lin worried that bloody reality peeked from behind them.

While wandering in the corridor aimlessly, Lin felt an emptiness in his heart. At this moment, he didn't even want to think about how the letter was delivered to him, or who sent it in the first place.

Recalling the past ten years of his life, he suddenly felt that he should do something about it.

Walking along and passing the corner, Lin saw a slender figure.

Leaning her back against the wall, she lowered her head and flipped through the magic book in her hand. The expression on her face was as gentle as spring rain, silently nourishing hearts*.

A gust of cool wind that came out of nowhere suddenly blew away the tiredness that accumulated in my heart.

"Elena?"

Lin subconsciously called out, she was no one else but the second princess of the kingdom, Elena Kleist.

If Louise is the ace of all, then Elena would be the master of magic. In the field of magic, she has already surpassed many a mage of the kingdom.

Elena has silvery-gray hair, pure eyes resembling sapphires, and a stunningly beautiful face that can rival Louise’s to boot.

Her eyebrows, the dimples on her cheeks, and the slight smile that sat at the corners of her mouth all compounded to create her gentle image. In Lin's view, she felt like the embodiment of the concept of gentleness itself. Whenever Lin thinks of this word, the first person he thinks of is her.

Elena intuitively sensing that something was wrong with Lin today, closed the grimoire in her hand, and walked up to him confidently.

The long white dress she wore resembled floating snowflakes, adding a tint of humanity to the bland corridor and Lin's world.

"What's the matter, did something bad happen, are you sick?" Elena stood on tiptoes and pressed the back of her white hand against his forehead.

Her body temperature always seemed to be a bit lower than normal, but Lin could feel the chill of her little hands just by having them touch his forehead.

Elena looked at Lin, still smiling gently, but her expression suggested she was a little worried; seeing that Lin was distracted, she asked again: "Did that bad woman Louise bully you?

You should have known she is bad news, and yet you went to her on your own, you really don't have a long memory. "

Elena was standing very close to Lin and from his point of view, as long as he lowered his head a bit, he could see the full shape of her neckline.

Lin, considering his choices could only move his gaze upwards and meet her scorching gaze again.

"Pff~"

Seemingly amused by Lin's reaction, she withdrew her little hand and covered her mouth, concealing a grin.

Elena didn't mean to ridicule him, instead, her smile carried a sense of fondness toward her grown-up younger brother.

Instead of choosing to question Lin, she took a step forward and got closer.

Standing on her toes, she put her hands around Lin's neck, holding the magic book behind Lin's head. She then breathed into Lin's ear: "If you like Jie-jie, you might as well say it out loud. As long as you want me to, I will satisfy you no matter what~"

Not stopping there, she also nibbled on Lin's earlobe, biting it lightly with her white teeth.

Her body was as soft as Louise's, but compared to Louise, she is more gentle and less intrusive.

Like a colorless and odorless poison, the feeling quietly washed over my heart.

Usually, Lin might have pushed her straight away.

But today he didn’t, instead he did the opposite and put his hands around Elena's slender waist, holding her tightly.

He is afraid. Afraid that all of this is just a facade.

If this is all false, then what about his previous life?

Rubbing against Elena with his cheek, he felt the tenderness and coldness of her skin.

He hugged her tightly with both hands, as if he wanted to etch this feeling in the deepest part of his memory. He closed his eyes, and his restless heart was instantly relieved.

Because of Lin's abnormal behavior, Elena was stunned for about two seconds, and when she came back to her senses, she hugged Lin's neck back tightly with her backhand, and the grimoire* she was holding fell to the ground, making a "pomf" sound.

Compared to Lin, even the magic she loves to study doesn’t measure up.

After closing her eyes, Elena's mouth curled up into a smile.

"Crack!"

What they didn't notice was that Louise was standing at the opposite end, and the corner of the wall she had just leaned on had been crushed into paste.

Embracing for a while, the two let go of each other, and Elena's face flushed a little more.

After lightly rubbing her hot cheeks, she stretched out her hand to straighten Lin's messy collar.

Seemingly having a premonition, she turned her head to look behind Lin, but there was no one there.

After thinking for a moment, she blinked, revealing a mysterious expression in her eyes.

Lin couldn't understand the meaning in it, but he instinctively judged that she was happy at the time.

Lin thought: If Louise is after his body, does Elena have ulterior motives too?

"You haven’t studied magic with me for a long time. Do you want to go together today? My place is quite big."

She did ask, but without even waiting for a reply, took Lin's hand and dragged him to the palace where she lived, as if she didn't consider the possibility of Lin's refusal.

Lin: "Okie"

He really didn't intend to refuse, because there were some things he wanted to check.

Women are deceivers, especially women who are as beautiful as Elena.

Because of the lessons learned from Louise, Lin had to remind himself to be more vigilant.

If he doesn't watch his back, he may be squeezed dry.

Walking in the long corridor, Lin suddenly asked, "Did you wait for me there?"

Elena: "Of course, I hang out there after I know you've went to see Louise, otherwise what would you do if you were bullied by her?"

Lin nodded, and said again: "Don’t you need the magic book that fell on the ground?"

Elena: "No, let's treat it as a gift for the lucky, I've finished reading it anyway."

Lin: "Yeah..."

 …

After the two left, a small yet refined figure passed by and picked up the grimoire. It opened the title page, and there was a line of beautiful small characters written on it:

"I love him more than anyone"

"You can't do that, sis~"

The girl muttered to herself, smiling like a cute little imp.

*2: Literally esoteric magic book

Yandere Princesses Ch2 - She wants to eat me up

Note: My knowledge of Chinese culture and references is lacking. Excuse me for missing any puns or jokes. I’m not a native speaker of either English or Mandarin.

The long black dress highlighted her slim figure well. The shiny crease at her collar attracted my stray glances. Her slender, willowy waist looked as delicate as a branch about to snap.

Her long legs, peeking from under the hem revealed only a small hint of white, and her steps, as elegant as a lotus, made people lose their heads.

Not to mention her neatly kept toes visible through the opening of her high heels…

She resembled Han Mei*; noble, glamorous, and unapproachable.

As far as Lin remembered, she rarely smiled, besides when she was with him.

She was looking at a book, “Secrets of Cooking: Preparing and Cooking in Clay”. Lin reached out for it, watching for her reaction.

“Stop!” He was stopped before even getting to touch it.

“Guys should read about military and politics, leave cooking to us girls.”

She took the book and held it against her chest. She intended to keep the content a secret.

What she did back then made Lin think she wasn’t very nice, but looking back, she was a little embarrassed. Even so, some of her actions were a bit too much…

He’s alright with this as long as being alive is on the table. Thinking about it, Louise had a dangerous expression on just now…

Lin felt cold all over, he hugged his shoulders and said, "I'm just a bit curious, I don’t really know much about cooking."

"So cute." Louise patted his head without restraint, with imperceptible possessiveness in her eyes: "Also, what do you think about the proposal from earlier?"

Lin took a step back and calmly replied: "No matter how you look at it, this proposal is a bit too crazy."

Louise shook her head: "What's so weird about this? Lin has no royal blood so he has no right to inherit, if you plan to take the king's place, you must marry one of us three sisters.

Well, I don’t particularly care, but if you work harder, you may have a chance with me.

Don't tell me you want to make a move on the young princess, who is only 14…

Even so, you have to think about which one of us you should choose; if you choose wrong, you might just die~"

"Why are you assuming I want to be king?" Lin was very puzzled.

From his point of view, Louise intends to eat him, and the so-called marriage is just a lie to deceive him.

Louise, who holds military power and political influence, is the first in line for succession. The second princess who’s competing with her has the support of the royal mages and can be regarded as a strong contender just by that merit.

For obvious reasons, the youngest little princess is out of the picture for now.

"Basically, you have to take the throne and grasp it’s power to thrive. That old prick is leaving for heaven shortly, so you have to plan to replace him sooner rather than later." Louise said coldly.

From Louise's words, he could clearly feel her resentment: "No matter what you say, he is still your father. It's not nice to call him a prick."

"Ha?!"

Louise sneered coldly, and she pushed Lin against the bookshelf with a single hand: "Have you forgotten what they did to you? Can't you see that they are using you as a guinea pig under the guise of treatment? Are you that stupid?"

The distance between the two was close to zero, and the distance between the tips of their noses span only five centimeters at most. Lin could clearly feel her hot breath hit his face.

The powerful force held Lin in place, and her captivating eyes made him unable to pull away. At that moment, her anger visibly peaked, like that of a raging dragon.

Obviously, she has been mistreated, but why is she this angry?

I don't understand, I don't understand at all.

He should be her prey and no hunter would be angry with their prey.

Maybe because she realized that she was being too forceful, Louise eased her tone: "This matter is not over yet, as long as the king is alive he will definitely deliver a final counterattack.

“If you want to survive, you have to make a choice, whether it is me or her, you can still survive. “

Leaving this ambiguous sentence behind, Louise closed the topic, and took another step closer, letting her body touch Lin, "Speaking of which, you haven't talked to my sister today, so quickly, do it now, immediately!”

She closed her eyes and greedily inhaled the smell of Lin's body as if she was enjoying the aroma of food she was about to eat.

Feeling her soft and tender body, and having listened to her charming words, Lin felt a chill go down his back while he stood in the warm embrace.

Perhaps in her eyes, he’s the prey after all.

"Jie-jie*…"

With a bit of reluctance, Lin still called her that, but this time it had been extraordinarily hard.

"Hee-hee, it would be great if you could always be so well-behaved, so I won't have to worry about doing unnecessary things."

Louise stood on her toes and patted him on the head twice.

Looking at the smiling girl in front of him, Lin couldn't believe for a second that she was going to kill him.

"If Jie-jie has nothing to do, I'll go back first. I have something to do."

Shaking his head, Lin pushed the complicated thoughts out of his mind.

The events of today were too much, he has to go back and sort them out.

Louise waved her hand: "Go ahead, the purpose of calling you here today is to remind you to arrange plans, your time is running out, if you don't do something, you’ll be in danger.

Be careful, don't die~"

"Yeah", he nodded and left the room.

After Lin left, Louise went back to the table with the book in her arms and sat down. Looking at the unfinished cup of black tea, she felt a little pity.

If Lin drank it, she could do something, and now it seems that she has to look for another opportunity.

Louise opened the diary, took out a pen, and wrote today’s entry.

[Year 30, April 1st, sunny.】

[My lovely younger brother is sixteen years old and he has already grown up to be a splendid big boy, and I am very pleased about it.】

[I never thought that I would fall in love with him so thoroughly. A hunter falls in love with his prey, like in a fairy tale.】

[I did a lot of things for him, such as poisoning the old prick, hee-hee, after all this vicious bullying he committed on my lovely brother, this is the retribution he deserves.】

[It's a pity that he hasn't died yet. I suspect he will still attack Lin in order to survive, but most of the power of the royal family is in my hands, and he doesn't have many cards to play left.

No matter what happens, I will protect Lin well, and he will only belong to me, forever and ever.】

After writing this down, Louise closed the diary in a giddy mood.

This thick diary hides her secrets and the reasons why she fell step by step, but Lin didn't see the important half of it’s contents.

All he saw was how she had started seeing him as prey.
